Bosch Automotive Electronics has upgraded its ECU (Electronic Control Unit) assembly lines with high-precision rotary indexing tables to achieve accurate synchronous positioning across multiple workstations. Driven by a cam indexer, the rotary table completes a 90° indexing movement in 0.3 seconds, conveying PCBs sequentially to soldering, dispensing, inspection, and packaging stations.
It delivers a repeat positioning accuracy of ±0.02 mm, significantly improving assembly efficiency and yield rate. Its backlash-free transmission design effectively eliminates the jitter issue inherent in traditional pneumatic indexing systems, maintaining stable performance during high-speed continuous operation. The design reduces the annual failure rate by 60%, meeting the stringent cycle time and reliability requirements of automotive electronics manufacturing.
